We have two halls and a meeting room for hire - The Barn, the smaller Four Lanes Room, and the Osborne Room (once a bullpen).  Details below. There's plenty of parking, full disabled provision throughout, and a paddock alongside the facilities that the Local Council often lets hirers use as well, for larger fundraising events.  The halls are ideal for family occasions, and we particularly welcome weddings, adult birthday and anniversary parties, and children's parties. Hire rates are detailed against each facility. 

We're sorry that we no longer accept bookings for teenage or 21st birthday parties.  However our rate for children's parties between 9am and 6pm, whether in the Barn or the Four Lanes Room, is £12.00per hour.   Contact Lesley to book on 01256 473634 email viables@btconnect.com.  Contact Trish to view on 07919 081 624.

The Barn

Is ideal for weddings, christenings, birthday celebrations, corporate and family social occasions, craft fairs, large classes, sales and other public events. The hall is basically rectangular in shape, measures approximately 15.5 x 12.5 metres, with a small stage at one end (5.20 x 2.15 metres) and a serving hatch (to our licensed bar) at the other. 

Off the main entrance lobby to The Barn, there is a modestly equipped kitchen.  Facilities include sink, electric cooker, microwave, larder fridge, urns and kettles. (Please note that currently we do not provide or include crockery or cutlery).  The Barn is licensed for up to 200 people, sitting 170 guests comfortably.

Private hire is £20 an hour before 6pm and £25 per hour between 6pm and midnight.  Commercial hire is £25ph before 6pm, and £27.50ph after.  We are licensed to accept bookings until 1am twelve times a year. Hire for registered charity events is £14 an hour at all times. 

Our licensed bar costs £50 to hire.  To protect our licence, we rarely accept bookings where people wish to bring their own alcohol. 

The Four Lanes Room

This is a smaller function room suitable for club or committee meetings, training courses, small classes, workshops, children's parties etc.

The room is rectangular in shape and measures approximately 12.4 x 5.8 metres. It has access to the Barn.  There is a sink unit with hot & cold water facilities and some crockery, but no access to the kitchen.  It is licensed for up to 100 people.

Private hire is £15 an hour before 6pm and £20 per hour between 6pm and midnight.  Commercial hire is £20ph before 6pm, and £22.50ph after.  Hire for registered charity events is £10 an hour at all times. 

The Osborne Room

Also known as Unit 12, this room is self-contained and situated across the yard from the main building.  It faces the paddock and was once a bullpen.

It is a useful committee room capable of seating 10 to 12 people. It is also used for band practice and small local sewing/art and craft groups.  It has an adjoining kitchen fitted with microwave, fridge and electric kettle.  Cups and saucers are also available.

Users do have access to the toilets but they are in the main building.  The Osborne Room can be hired each day between 9am and 10pm for £5 an hour.
