Welcome to Viables Community Centre.
Situated at the heart of a craft centre, we are ideally placed to offer a wide range of regular groups for you to join, or once-off events for you to take part in. Several of our activities focus on arts and crafts fun with the help of the craftspeople around us.
Once a farm, the whole site is an attractive and peaceful haven within a busy town. The halls and rooms we have for hire were once barns and bull pens, so we can offer an attractive setting for your special occasion - weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and children's parties.
The Community Centre is run by volunteers - members of the Viables Community Association. We're keen to expand the activities we offer and you're very welcome to join in and help us. Please feel free to have a look at some of the jobs that need doing to keep the Centre going!
We are also drawing up new plans for the Centre, as there is a substantial amount of money available for our buildings from the developers of the new houses at Skippetts Lane. Please contact us if you have any ideas for the Centre, or if there any new activities which you feel are missing. We'll always be pleased to hear from you.
